Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), 51-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Timnath upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Cubs host Estes Park (Estes Park, CO) to clash with the Bobcats in a bout on Thursday, February 9. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Estes Park lost 64-14 in their recent league bout against Platte Valley (Kersey, CO)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO) in a bout, on Friday, February 10. Wellington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 70-40 non-league loss to Yuma (Yuma, CO).
