Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast Phoenix (Hurst, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Phoenix confront the Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Bulls enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX).
The Porcupines now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Castleberry for a 4A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Friday, February 10. Springtown will confront a Lions team coming off a 8-1 league win over Decatur (Decatur, TX). The Lions record now stands at 10-2.
