New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Joseph can't hold off Absegami

The Absegami Braves basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Wildcats to 73 in the Braves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Braves now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Pilgrim Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Absegami will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 38-35 league win over Cumberland Christian (Vineland, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-6.
The Wildcats (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, West Deptford nudged Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ), 40-36, in a non-league contest.
