The Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS), 62-53 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bears (8-15) will now prepare for their test against Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 23-2 record. In their last test, Booneville notched a victory over Mantachie (Mantachie, MS), 71-32, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 14-10 record.
