The Tyrone Golden Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles to 40 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellefonte for a Laurel Highlands contest on Friday, February 9. Tyrone will battle a Raiders team coming off a 68-63 league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-12.

The Bald Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA). The Golden Tigers come into the Laurel Highlands contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Hollidaysburg prevailed over Altoona (Altoona, PA), 59-38, in a league contest.
