The Bishop Hendricken Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 30 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portsmouth for a Division 1 contest on Friday, February 9. Bishop Hendricken will meet a Patriots team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 12-6.

The Thunderbolts (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers enter the Division 1 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Cumberland was routed by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 64-37, in a league contest.
