North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Community Charter tops Bradford Prep

February 7, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28052

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC), saw Piedmont Community Charter's basketball squad knock off Bradford Prep by a tally of 69-54.

With the victory, Piedmont Community Charter improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to play the Stallions in a 1A Metro 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 13-14. Queen's Grant lost 81-46 in their recent league challenge against Carolina International (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge, on Friday, February 9. Bradford Prep will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Raptor come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 71-50 league loss to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC).
