In Wednesday's league outing, the Brentwood Indians (Brentwood, NY) basketball squad beat the host Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY), by a margin of 64-54.

The Indians (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY). The Raiders go into the Section 11 AAA-1 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Patchogue-Medford was beaten by William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY), 62-44, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ward Melville for a Section 11 AAA-1 outing on Friday, February 9. Walt Whitman will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 54-51 league win over Longwood (Middle Island, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 10-8.
