The Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), 74-66 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Terries (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 20-2 record.
The Chiefs now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host North Star Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. Caldwell will encounter a squad coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The record now stands at 6-13.
