Maryland High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy tops Calvert Hall

St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD), 56-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, St. Frances Academy upgrades its record to 21-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD) to play the Cougars in a MIAA A - Red bout on Friday, February 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 19-8. Our Lady of Mount Carmel lost 80-69 in their recent league bout against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Calvert Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 15-16 season record.
