Maryland High School Basketball - Thomas Stone overwhelmed by Calvert

The Calvert Cavaliers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Thomas Stone Cougars to 43 in the Cavaliers league victory on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chopticon for a Southern Maryland contest on Friday, February 9. Calvert will battle a Braves team coming off a 86-66 league win over Northern (Owings, MD). The Braves record now stands at 11-7.
The Cougars (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets come into the Southern Maryland contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Great Mills was routed by Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 56-51, in a league contest.
