Nevada High School Basketball - Churchill County overwhelms Dayton

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the visiting Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), saw Churchill County's basketball squad wallop Dayton by a tally of 75-46.

With the victory, Churchill County improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Fernley (Fernley, NV) to play the Vaqueros in a 3A Northern - East challenge on Friday, February 9. The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a record of 21-2. Fernley won 73-61 in their recent league challenge against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV)

Next up, the Dust Devils play the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a 3A Northern - East challenge, on Friday, February 9. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 59-52 non-league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
