Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR), 57-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Douglas upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Trojans host South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR) to clash with the Lancers in a 3A Far West bout on Friday, February 9. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 7-11.

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) in a 3A Far West bout, on Friday, February 9. Coquille will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 51-49 league loss to Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR).
