Kentucky High School Basketball - Scott thwarted by Dixie Heights

The Scott Eagles basketball team (Covington, KY), was toppled 68-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY)

The Colonels now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Cross for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Dixie Heights will confront a Indians team coming off a 66-64 league loss to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Indians record now stands at 15-9.

The Eagles (11-14) will now prepare for their battle against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, Simon Kenton was toppled by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 62-50, in a non-league battle.
