Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) and the visiting Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR), saw Dufur's basketball squad hold off Sherman by a count of 41-40.

With the victory, Dufur upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Rangers host Union (Union, OR) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 18-7.

Next up, the Huskies play the Ione/Arlington Cardinals (Ione, OR) in a 1A Big Sky challenge, on Friday, February 9. Sherman will attempt to upgrade on its 22-1 season record.
