The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers basketball team scored 98 points and held the visiting Edison Tommies to 78 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lakers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robbinsdale Cooper for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Minneapolis Southwest will meet a Hawks team coming off a 74-67 league loss to Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 8-11.
The Tommies (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Minneapolis South ran past North Community (Minneapolis, MN), 69-66, in a non-league contest.
