The Mid Peninsula Wolverines (Rock, MI) basketball nipped the host Engadine Eagles (Engadine, MI), 58-56 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Mackinac Island (Mackinac Island, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Mackinac Island was tipped by Nah Tah Wahsh (Wilson, MI), 53-49, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Newberry for a Eastern Upper Peninsula test on Friday, February 9.
