Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Golden Demons (Golden, CO), 61-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Standley Lake upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Gators host Alameda (Lakewood, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a 5A/4A Jeffco bout on Friday, February 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-17. Alameda lost 82-32 in their recent league bout against Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO)
Next up, the Demons clash with the Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) in a 5A/4A Jeffco bout, on Friday, February 9. Golden will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 57-44 league loss to Evergreen (Evergreen, CO).
