Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) and the host Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), saw Handley's basketball squad knock off Sherando by a count of 73-59.

With the victory, Handley upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Judges travel to James Wood (Winchester, VA) to play the Colonels in a Northwestern challenge on Friday, February 9. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. James Wood lost 49-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Charles Town, WV)

Next up, the Warriors play the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Friday, February 9. Sherando will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 64-55 non-league loss to Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV).
