The Hayward Farmers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host San Lorenzo Grizzlies to 59 in the Farmers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Farmers now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Eden for a West Alameda County - Shoreline contest on Friday, February 9. Hayward will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 46-36 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 13-12.

The Grizzlies (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Dons enter the West Alameda County - Shoreline contest with a 3-20 record. In their last contest, Arroyo was defeated by Tennyson (Hayward, CA), 57-56, in a league contest.
