Tenino Beavers (Tenino, WA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting King's Way Christian Knights (Vancouver, WA), 48-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tenino upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Beavers host Elma (Elma, WA) to play the Eagles in a 1A Evergreen bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 14-7. Elma won 65-59 in their recent non-league bout against La Center (La Center, WA)

Next up, the Knights play the La Center Wildcats (La Center, WA) in a 1A Trico bout, on Friday, February 9. King's Way Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 65-59 non-league loss to Elma (Elma, WA).
