Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), 41-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Park upgrades its record to 25-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL) to play the North Stars in a DuKane bout on Friday, February 9. The North Stars come into the bout with a record of 10-16. St. Charles North won 70-66 in their recent league bout against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Friday, February 9. Wheaton-Warrenville South will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 17-8 record after their 65-45 league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL).
