The Lebanon Greyhounds basketball team (Lebanon, IL), was overwhelmed 59-32 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Steeleville Warriors (Steeleville, IL)

The Warriors now possess a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marissa/Coulterville for a Cahokia - Kaskaskia battle on Friday, February 9. Steeleville will battle a Meteors team coming off a 53-36 non-league loss to Red Bud (Red Bud, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 14-14.

The Greyhounds (8-18) will now prepare for their battle against New Athens (New Athens, IL). The Yellow Jackets come into the Cahokia - Kaskaskia battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, New Athens was overwhelmed by Okawville (Okawville, IL), 57-34, in a non-league battle.
