The Westerly Bulldogs basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting North Kingstown Skippers to 42 in the Bulldogs league victory on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Classical for a Division 1 contest on Friday, February 9. Westerly will battle a Purples team coming off a 92-41 league win over Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Purples record now stands at 19-1.
The Skippers (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers come into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Cumberland dropped by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 64-37, in a league contest.
