Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting North Salem Tigers (North Salem, NY), 52-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Putnam Valley upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Haldane (Cold Spring, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a Section 1 Conference 3E bout on Friday, February 9. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 15-3. Haldane won 61-42 in their recent league bout against Pawling (Pawling, NY)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hendrick Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. North Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
