Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) and the host Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), saw North Valley's basketball squad wallop Rogue River by a tally of 61-28.

With the victory, North Valley improves its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR) to confront the Honkers in a 3A Far West challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Honkers come into the challenge with a record of 9-14.

Next up, the Chieftains confront the Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Friday, February 9. Rogue River will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 71-61 league loss to St. Mary's (Medford, OR).
