The Onaway Cardinals basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds to 38 in the Cardinals league victory on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Inland Lakes for a Ski-Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Onaway will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-43 league loss to Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, St. Mary Cathedral moves to 11-6 on the year. The Snowbirds travel to Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI) to meet the Swordsmen in a non-league match on Friday, February 9. The Swordsmen enter the match with a record of 15-2. Harbor Light Christian won 83-35 in their recent league match against North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI)
