Southold Settlers (Southold, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shelter Island Islanders (Shelter Island, NY), 84-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Southold upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Settlers travel to Ross (East Hampton, NY) to play the in a Section 11 C/D-7 bout on Monday, February 12. The go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Ross won 35-30 in their recent league bout against Shelter Island (Shelter Island, NY)

Next up, the Islanders play the Ross (East Hampton, NY) in a Section 11 C/D-7 bout, on Saturday, February 10. Shelter Island will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record.
