The Atholton Raiders basketball team (Columbia, MD), was nudged 42-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD)
The Lions now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a Howard County battle on Monday, February 12. Howard will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-38 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
The Raiders (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD). The Eagles come into the Howard County battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Centennial edged Long Reach (Columbia, MD), 53-28, in a league outing.
