New York High School Basketball - AuSable Valley overwhelmed by Saranac

The Saranac Spartans basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots to 36 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plattsburgh for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest on Friday, February 9. Saranac will battle a Hornets team coming off a 47-36 league loss to Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 8-8.
The Patriots (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Sentinels come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Ticonderoga triumphed over Peru (Peru, NY), 55-47, in a league contest.
