Wisconsin High School Basketball - Bayfield can't hold off Mercer

The Mercer Tigers basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Bayfield Trollers to 29 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lac Courte Oreilles for a Northern Lights contest on Friday, February 9. Mercer will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-31 league loss to Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-19.
The Trollers (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Butternut (Butternut, WI). The Midgets come into the Northern Lights contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Butternut edged Washburn (Washburn, WI), 64-55, in a league contest.
