The Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) basketball felled the host Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT), 54-46 in Wednesday's league test.
The Tigers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Presidents go into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Harding was beaten by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 48-19, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wolcott RVT for a Connecticut Technical test on Friday, February 9. Platt RVT will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-41 league win over O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-13.
