Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS), 41-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canton upgrades its record to 24-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 21-6. Holmes County Central won 41-33 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville (Greenville, MS)
