Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT), 35-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Parish Hill upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Weaver (Hartford, CT) to play the Beavers in a Capitol Region bout on Friday, February 9. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Weaver won 43-12 in their recent non-league bout against East Catholic (Manchester, CT)

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Capital Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Beavers come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 58-31 league loss to Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT).
