The Egg Harbor Township Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Cedar Creek Pirates to 28 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgeton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Egg Harbor Township will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-22 non-league loss to Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-18.
The Pirates (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Southern Regional was routed by Neptune (Neptune, NJ), 53-34, in a non-league contest.
