West Virginia High School Basketball - Tucker County can't hold off Gilmer County

The Tucker County Mountain Lions basketball team (Hambleton, WV), was nudged 56-51 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV)

The Titans now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Marys for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Gilmer County will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 75-54 league win over Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-4.

The Mountain Lions (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Petersburg was nudged by Union (Mount Storm, WV), 51-38, in a non-league battle.
