Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ), 34-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Summit upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 16-6. Cranford won 53-21 in their recent non-league bout against Rahway (Rahway, NJ)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Governor Livingston will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record.
