McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD), 61-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, McDonogh upgrades its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pallotti (Laurel, MD) to play the Panthers in a IAAM A bout on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 13-9.

Next up, the Cougars play the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a IAAM A bout, on Friday, February 9. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record.
