With the win, NCSSM: Durham upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Unicorns travel to Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC) to play the Phoenix in a 1A/2A Super Six bout on Friday, February 9. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Raleigh Charter lost 36-34 in their recent league bout against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)

Next up, the Raptors play the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) in a 1A/2A Super Six bout, on Friday, February 9. Research Triangle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 36-34 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC).
