Minnesota High School Basketball - West Lutheran topped by New Life Academy

The New Life Academy Eagles basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host West Lutheran Warriors to 58 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Croix Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. New Life Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 77-39 non-league win over Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The Lions record now stands at 19-5.
The Warriors (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Spectrum (Elk River, MN). The Sting come into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Spectrum prevailed over Eagle Ridge Academy (Minnetonka, MN), 57-32, in a non-league contest.
