Nevada High School Basketball - North Tahoe trounces Oasis Academy

The North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) basketball crushed the host Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), 51-23 in Wednesday's league test.

The Lakers (19-2) will now prepare for their test against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines go into the 2A Northern test with a 14-8 record. In their last test, West Wendover walloped Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV), 44-15, in a league test.

The Bighorns now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Pershing County for a 2A Northern test on Friday, February 9. Oasis Academy will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-23 league win over Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 22-2.
