Ohio High School Basketball - North Union routs Northwestern

In Wednesday's league outing, the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH), by a count of 64-17.

The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Elgin smashed Perry (Lima, OH), 53-40, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Troy Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 10. Northwestern will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 50-24 league win over Bethel (Tipp City, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 11-10.
