Galileo Lions (San Francisco, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Balboa Buccaneers (San Francisco, CA), 31-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Galileo upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign.
