The Monta Vista Matadors basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Lynbrook Vikings to 30 in the Matadors league triumph on Wednesday.
The Matadors now sport a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Gatos for a contest on Friday, February 9. Monta Vista will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 33-26 league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
The Vikings (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings enter the contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Palo Alto lost by Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA), 43-6, in a league match.
