Virginia High School Basketball - Poquoson ripped by Bruton

The Bruton Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Poquoson Islanders to 51 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Bruton will meet a Rams team coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Rams record now stands at 4-13.
The Islanders (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, New Kent triumphed over Warhill (Williamsburg, VA), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
