Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) and the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), saw Lewis County's basketball squad overcome Buckhannon-Upshur by a tally of 76-62.

With the victory, Lewis County improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV) to play the Colts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
