The Valley Central Vikings basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Minisink Valley Warriors to 36 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washingtonville for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Valley Central will battle a Wizards team coming off a 45-33 non-league win over Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Wizards record now stands at 11-3.

The Warriors (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Cornwall Central was nudged by Warwick (Warwick, NY), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
