Illinois High School Basketball - Abingdon/Avon routs Stark County

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes basketball team scored a big 71-39 triumph over the Stark County Rebels.

The Tornadoes (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Annawan (Annawan, IL). The Braves/Bravettes go into the Lincoln Trail contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Annawan was trounced by Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL), 54-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rebels confront the Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Stark County will attempt to better on its 6-17 season record. The Mallards go into the contest with a 5-19 record after their 60-40 league loss to Marquette (Ottawa, IL).
