Next, the Panthers encounter the LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Alba-Golden will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Flyers come into the test with a 22-10 record after their 80-55 league win over Cayuga (Cayuga, TX).

The Wildcats (16-14) will now prepare for their test against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region III District 19 test with a 30-1 record. In their last test, Martins Mill beat Frankston (Frankston, TX), 64-45, in a league test.
