North Carolina High School Basketball - Panther Creek holds off Apex Friendship

In Friday's league contest, the host Panther Creek Catamounts basketball team scored a close 37-35 triumph over the Apex Friendship Patriots.

The Catamounts (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the 4A Southeast Wake contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Holly Springs nipped Cary (Cary, NC), 71-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) in a 4A Southeast Wake contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Apex Friendship will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Imps go into the contest with a 10-12 record after their 71-51 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).
